Terms of use

Last updated: April 2026 · SubLog app only

By downloading or using the mobile app SubLog (“SubLog,” “the app”) on iPhone or iPad you agree to these terms. They govern only your use of SubLog; they do not replace other legal texts on RODRIGUEZROM.com unless expressly stated. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Product and publisher identity

The commercial name shown in the app is SubLog. It is a native iOS app for iPhone and iPad, distributed internationally through the App Store (Finance category). The interface may be localized (for example English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, or Brazilian Portuguese, depending on the project and store region).

The publisher of SubLog (“we”) develops and offers the app; operational contact is provided at the end. If you are a consumer, mandatory rights in your country may apply even if not listed here.

Acceptance and eligibility

By using SubLog you represent that you have legal capacity to accept these terms or that you have permission from a parent, guardian, or other authorized person.

The app is not directed at children under 13. If you are between 13 and the age of majority where you live, review these terms with a parent or guardian.

License to use

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use SubLog under these terms and the rules of the store from which you obtain it (including, where applicable, Apple’s and the App Store’s standard terms).

You may not rent, resell, sublicense, or exploit the app beyond what is allowed; circumvent technical measures; use it unlawfully or in a way that harms others; or reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software except to the extent applicable law expressly permits.

Nature of the service and features

SubLog is a personal tool to manually log subscriptions and track recurring spending, renewal dates, and totals or summaries in the app. You can create, edit, and delete subscriptions with fields such as an internal identifier, service name, catalog template (visual reference), amount, currency, monthly or annual billing cycle, next renewal date, optional account label, and reminder preferences (three days before and/or on renewal day).

The app includes lists, detail, editor, monthly or yearly summaries per currency, a local catalog picker (brand names or icons as visual reference only, not third-party API integration), an About screen (information and version), and Settings (notifications, reminder time, legal links, and support). Data is stored on the device as described in the privacy policy.

What SubLog does not do

SubLog does not connect to banks, third-party app stores, or real accounts with services such as Netflix or Spotify. It does not verify real charges or guarantee that dates or amounts match your contracts, invoices, or official statements.

Third-party prices, terms, or renewals may change; delays, errors in data you enter, or discrepancies with a provider are your responsibility toward those third parties.

SubLog is not financial, tax, legal, or investment advice and does not replace a qualified professional.

Accuracy and limits regarding third parties

You are responsible for the accuracy and currency of what you enter. The app is organizational support; it does not certify or audit your obligations to external providers.

Local alerts and summaries are based on your configuration; they do not confirm that a charge occurred or replace official documentation.

Intellectual property and third-party marks

The code, design, SubLog mark, and other assets of the publisher are protected under applicable law. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Service names and logos in the catalog are trademarks of their owners. SubLog does not claim affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement by those third parties unless a documented agreement is clearly communicated in the future.

Prohibited conduct

You agree not to use SubLog in a way that violates law, others’ rights, or these terms—including not to distribute malware, interfere with the app or Apple’s systems, or use it in unauthorized environments where that would breach contract or law.

Notifications

If you enable reminders and grant permission, the app schedules local notifications on the device using UserNotifications. Content may include localized system titles and a body with the subscription title shown and the amount formatted in the stored currency. There is no developer remote push for that content in the version described; behavior depends on iOS/iPadOS and your system settings.

App Store and Apple

Use of SubLog on iOS is also governed by Apple’s and the App Store’s EULA and terms for your region, including billing or claims handled by Apple where applicable.

In-app purchases

The current build described does not include in-app purchases (IAP) or a subscription to the app. If paid features are added later, we will publish additional terms and refund rules per store policies (refunds are often processed through Apple).

Changes to the app and these terms

We may update SubLog (add, change, or remove features) and revise these terms; we will post the new date on this page. For material changes we will use reasonable efforts to notify you in the app or through usual channels. Continued use after substantial changes may mean you accept the updated terms, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.

Disclaimer of warranties

SubLog is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent allowed by law, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or otherwise are disclaimed.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for lost profits, data loss, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or decisions based on information in the app.

If the law of your country does not allow certain limitations or exclusions (for example as a consumer in the EU, EEA, or UK), your national rights apply and the foregoing applies only to the extent that law permits.

Governing law, venue, language, and international users

If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms limits or excludes rights granted to you by mandatory rules of the country or region where you habitually reside.

Except where those mandatory rules provide otherwise in your favor (including, where applicable, rules on international jurisdiction that allow you to bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence), the legal relationship arising from your use of SubLog is governed by the laws of the country where the app publisher has its principal place of business or domicile, and the courts of that country have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any other mandatory rule that may apply.

Versions in languages other than English are provided to make these terms easier to read. If wording differs between translations, the English version published on RODRIGUEZROM.com prevails for interpretation between you and the publisher. If mandatory law in your country requires another language to be binding or requires that you be given terms in your language, that law controls.
